Carnations are great to have in flower arrangements because they last for more than a week. These were hanging on so I decided to paint them. This is framed in a big black molding.

- Living in Derwood, Maryland, with my wonderful husband, two great kids (adults) and our rambuctious dog, Maggie. I try to paint everyday but of course life happens and that is not always possible. Sitting in front of the easel with brushes in hand is my meditation. I'm engrossed in my tiny world creating what I want. I welcome any and all comments.
